Driving

At last, after 7 attempts, too much comfort food and a course of hypnotherapy, I am a fully fledged driver!

What were my first thoughts as the examiner told me I had passed (pity he remembered me from last time - never a good sign...especially the police car...)?

Yes to go to a farm and indulge in a spot of PYO fruit and veg so I can stack up the new freezer. I can think of nothing better than puicking all those juicy berries as you sometimes squeeze one or two a bit to hard and they ooze down your fingers and have to be guzzled very quickly.

The weather here is beautiful at the moment and the new office move means that I have one of the best views in the town. The two windows overlook the seafront and I can see golden acres of soft smooth sand and the sun is just glinting on the wave ripples in the distance ....but it is freezing!

Time to try some of the best bits of the summer....strawberries. Warm them to room temperature and they become something else!
